Jessica - I looked up the abduction of Kelsey Ann Smith. She left a Target store at 7:09 p.m.
Kesse Family - this article said that Target has a Target Forensics Services department, that enhances video from surveillance cameras.
Kelsey put her purse and items she bought on the passenger seat of her car, went around to the driver's side, and was forced into her car. The struggle was caught on video tape.
A couple of facts of this case:
- She was abducted, and her abductor returned her car 2 hours later, a very short timeframe. He returned her car near where he took her car, in front of a Macy's store, and the Macy's video was clear enough to identify him.
- He had driven to Target in his own vehicle, and returned her vehicle and picked up his own.
- Her body was found in a wooded area, 20 miles from where she was abducted, the area located from a cell phone ping.
- Her abductor, Edwin Roy "Jack" Hall, had NO CRIMINAL record, but DID have a juvenile record of assault - maybe that is something to check out in Jennifer's case.

If the dog is still smelling the scent 48 hrs. later could of been POI was a regular in that area and made that bike ride or walk daily which means he parked the car there strategically to keep on eye out on it. Wasn't you, Bll that said you knew someone who trains the tracking dog. I think Dan mentioned a ligature was used in the Kelsey case to subdue her. That thing around his ankle could be a ligature he used and maybe kept?? Are we able to tell if that thing around his ankle is on both legs or just the left one. This may be a wild stretch but maybe tracking people who were shopping at that Publix center and gas station across the street on noon that day. I agree Bill someone saw him. If he was on bike that day someone should recognize him.

I think the scent was still fresh on Thursday and that is why the dogs went back to the Mosiac condo tracking it. It would not have been anybody's except the POI's 2 days old. It's a miracle they were able to pick it up after 48 hours. But I believe the POI walked to Jennfer's apartment from that lot the morning (s)he abducted her, meaning (s)he had some kind of vehicle already there..and yes, I can see it as a bicycle. I definitely think someone should have noticed the POI at noon on the 24th dressed the way (s)he was...bike helmet? or beret on his head, shoes half on half off, weird string on his pants' cuff, carrying a who knows what under his right arm...rather unforgettable especially after Jennifer's disappearance that day. I could almost guarantee that someone saw POI and remembers him or her? enough to give a description. In Melanie Metheny's case, another where the lady's vehicle was involved and recovered in a different lot, "wiped clean", at least 4 different people saw either her or her van before she disappeared. This enabled us to get a timeline for the last hour she was visible. Everybody watches these shows we are mentioning in this space...maybe a mass e-mail campaign to get them to give Jennifer the exposure that might break this case. Find the POI and we may find her.

This message is for Trey. You asked a question some time ago and I did not reply. I lived on St. Croix 20 yrs. ago and got wiped out by a Class Five Hurricane after living there only 9 months.
I have been back one time since, two yrs. after that. My husband and I would not think of going back there now due to the high crime rate, was always high, but since our hurricane and a few others since, the crime is unbelievable. But while we did live there, loved the island, was gorgeous, the best island in the Caribbean, but people in general you could never ever get to really know them. Very friendly, that was about it, and we always used to wonder WHY WERE THEY THERE, they had to be hiding from something, for sure.

Jessica did you see anyone on the camera was was at pool side. or in the pool. could someone have been sunbathing somewhere who the POI didnt see and that person didnt look up since that person could have been asleep and the POI woke them upwhen tjey walked by. thats all I got back from the Today show Jessica A auto-email thanking me for writing the show. I wonder Sandy if you got that too when you wrote whoever you wrote.

No just an auto-email back from Nancy Grace show. The person on camera is definitely the suspect because he is caught parking the car and getting out before walking alongside the pool and getting caught again on surveillance. People were definitely in the vicinity but POI did not look suspicious. It's noon which is a common time for lunch breaks.

That is why the Kesse have to go on the air. it just might jar someone memory about that day. are there not a person who could have been walking taking theredog for a walk. this person might not yet know what we know now. that it was tues instead on thurs. so all of us got to keep calling and email until this family gets to do what they have been asking for air time.

I wonder if other people had been on that trail. thew same day before POI went down that street. could it be that someone just happened to be walking down that path at the same time this person did and this person isnt even involed at all. come on. people dont just disappear without at lease one person seeing them. I wonder what Bill M, Dan, Jessica, Sandy, Kese family will think of this?

We are not 100% sure that the bloodhound was traking POI and not Jennifer's scent. Whose to say he didn't grab his bike and ride back down the street towards Mosaic? Whoever is that dogs handler would know exactly what the dog was tracking or the pattern.We are not sure if the dog is tracking from HOG car to Mosaic because that is what POI did after he go out of the car or because that is where the car originated from. And if this is an instance where Jennifer was being stalked for some time by POI he could of frequented that stairwell area waiting for her on separate occasions.

Jessica: If the POI grabbed Jennifer somewhere other than in front of her apartment then why did the bloodhounds track his scent back to the front door of her condo? Otherwise, an interesting scenario

Can police or Kesse family recreate that image using someone who is similiar in height and put on a solid black helmet and see if it matches the image surveillance captured.

From the surveillance image of POI parking the car he gets out and has his arms raised from 12:59:42-44 which could be he is snapping on a bike helmet? Meaning if POI has a bike it is nearby nobody would put on a helmet and walk one mile back to Mosaic to retrieve the bike with a helmet on. Sandy- It looks like his right hand is clutching something small like the keys. I think this could of gone down at the shopping center next door at Publix. Did Jennifer frequent that Publix? Did she bring in her lunch to work and was out of necessities like lunch meat or bread or out of breakfast items? Publix opens at 8 which would have her out of the complex when the landscapers arrive and they usually have next door UPS stores or some kind of shipping place to send out the cell phone. If POI confronted her on bike at the Publix shopping center it would make sense that when he exits her vehicle he puts on the helmet to retrieve his bike next door.

Dan- I agree if it was a snatch and grab and the POI along with others parked a van next to her car and grabbed her while she was getting in the car in the morning the car would of stayed right there. They already have what they are looking for. Why bother on driving the car around to try to fool the police especially hours later?

IF anyone reads anything about an abduction that the perpretrator took the victims car post it here so we can try to compare. Anyone know how the perp in Kelsey's case subdued her and entered her car? There is also Dru Sjodin who was abducted from a parking lot. POI could of been riding around on a bike but at 7:30 am it's kinda early to be up if you have nowhere to go. If POI was up at 7;30 around Mosaic he was up for some reason either up to no good or somewhere to be. Jennifer could of been loading unloading her car with the trunk open. Especially since that bag is right by the door.
